Funding for Bockhorn Elementary School

New Books and Ukulele Lessons

Munich Airport has supported Bockhorn Elementary School in purchasing new teaching materials specifically designed to promote reading skills and a love of reading among students in grades one through four.

In addition to new books and reading workbooks, sheet music was also purchased for the newly introduced ukulele lessons in the 4th grade, thereby meaningfully expanding the school’s music program. Mayor Lorenz Angemaier was also pleased with the support Munich Airport provided to the elementary school.

Munich Airport has already demonstrated its commitment to local education in the past, including through its support of the Bockhorn Library. This ongoing commitment helps to strengthen educational and recreational opportunities in the community in the long term.

Bockhorn is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding with a population of approximately 4,460. It is centrally located within the district, has good infrastructure, and is known for its vibrant and active community life.

It’s wonderful to see the enthusiasm and excitement with which the children engage in both reading and making music.
