Munich Airport supported the FünfSieben Festival, which took place at Karlsfelder See, as part of its corporate sponsorship program, thereby promoting a project that gives young people opportunities for creativity, participation, and personal responsibility.
What makes the FünfSieben Festival special is that it is organized by young people for young people. Together, they decide which bands will perform, how the festival grounds will be set up, what the posters will look like, and what visitors can expect on the day of the festival. Instead of commercial interests, the focus is on participation, engagement, and youth-oriented culture.
About 30 young people spent nine months planning the festival from September through May. An additional 170 volunteers helped with setup and takedown and contributed to the event’s success.
