This intensive on-the-job-training provides a series of exercises and exposure to real-life operations in MUC, where the participants can practice daily tasks and procedures adequately to the established AOC protocol. The course will improve understanding of required actions, coordination principles and complexities involved in the airport operations.

  • Collaboration scheme between airport entities, airlines and stakeholders on the example of apron processes
  • Roles specific requirements, responsibilities and attributes needed for an AOC Controller
  • Thorough introduction of the Airport Operation Center in MUC combined with site visit

Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer

At a glance:

Participants benefit from Munich Airport’s extensive ORAT experience of more than 25 years. They are  introduced to methodologies, tools and key learning points for setting up and executing their own ORAT Programme - for safe, secure and efficient operations from day one onwards. 

The course covers typical phases and interdependencies of an ORAT Programm, necessary project and stakeholder management aspects as well as the planning and execution of the ORAT core elements -  such as the preparation of operational documents, familiarization and training, trial operations as well as airport transfer, opening and post-opening support.
