October 2027 - Munich AirportAcademy has released the 2027 dates for its ORAT International Training Courses, with registration now open for airport professionals from around the world. The five-day classroom-based training course in Munich provides practical expertise in Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT), helping participants prepare airport openings, expansions and transition projects in a structured and effective way.
What makes the program unique is its origin. Munich Airport is widely recognized as the pioneer of structured ORAT methodology. The world's first ORAT project was delivered during Munich Airport's transition from Munich-Riem to the new airport in 1992. Over the past three decades, the methodology has been further developed and applied to airport projects around the globe, supporting safe and efficient operational transitions.
Developed and delivered by experienced Munich Airport experts, the training combines proven methodologies with practical exercises, real-world project examples and peer exchange. Participants gain valuable insights into stakeholder management, operational trials, readiness planning and airport transfers, supported by tools and templates that can be applied directly to their own projects.
