Travel Vaccinations and Vaccination Counseling

Depending on your destination, certain vaccinations or preventive measures are recommended or required (e.g., yellow fever, hepatitis A and B, typhoid, rabies, TBE, and malaria prophylaxis).

A personalized vaccination consultation helps you review your current vaccinations and get any necessary travel vaccinations in time. For more information on scheduling an appointment, please see the Travel Medicine Clinic at Munich Airport Clinic.

Tropical Medicine and Long-Distance Travel

When traveling to Africa, Asia, or South America, it is advisable to consult a doctor about tropical health risks (including malaria, dengue fever, Zika, environmental stressors, and what to include in your travel first-aid kit).

Chronic conditions, pregnancy, or planned long-term stays are also taken into account during the travel medicine consultation.
