Elevating Passenger Experience: ACI Training in Riyadh

Empowering future airport leaders

August 2025 - Munich AirportAcademy, in collaboration with ACI World (Airports Council International), recently delivered the Passenger Experience Management (PXM) Course for the Riyadh Airports Company for the fourth time - marking another milestone in our international training journey.

Over five intensive days, 20 emerging talents from Riyadh Airports explored the core dimensions of passenger experience, including:

  • Strategic PXM planning
  • Corporate culture and human resource management
  • Passenger journey mapping
  • Auditing and customer experience measurement
  • Passenger personas and action planning

Immersive learning experience with cultural exchange

The course was facilitated by Andre Schunck and Magdalena Sokol, who brought hands-on expertise and a collaborative spirit to the sessions. Participants engaged in lively discussions, shared best practices, and took part in a practical excursion to apply their learnings in a real-world airport setting.

A special highlight was the visit from Gurjit GILL, Director (AMPAP) Global ACI - ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program), who offered exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into global airport excellence.

From Saudi coffee breaks to meaningful conversations, the training was not just a learning experience - it was a celebration of curiosity, openness, and professional growth.

The Riyadh Airports team continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to elevating passenger experience, and we’re proud to support their journey toward aviation excellence.
