New partnership between Saudia Cargo and MAI

MAI is ORAT partner of Saudia Cargo

Saudia Cargo has chosen Munich Airport International (MAI) as ORAT partner for its expansion projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over the coming three years, a joint team of MAI consultants and Saudia Cargo experts will roll out comprehensive ORAT programs at various Saudia Cargo facilities at King Khaled International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh and King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah.

The team is currently on-site in Riyadh and setting up the ORAT program of a new 24,000 sqm cargo terminal at the country’s capital aviation hub KKIA. Meanwhile, Saudia Cargo has launched the construction of a state-of-the-art cargo terminal at its Jeddah hub KAIA, which is an essential element of the new partnership between Saudia Cargo and MAI. The new cargo terminal in Jeddah wows with a final built-up area of 85,000 sqm and a handling capacity of more than 800,000 tons.
