Starting April 21, 2026, passengers from approximately 40 airlines serving non-Schengen destinations from Terminal 1 will travel through the new T1 pier.
With this new pier, Munich Airport is specifically strengthening the infrastructure for intercontinental traffic in Terminal 1, creating additional capacity and a modern travel environment.
