Cargo seminar
On 3rd July, Kansai Airports, Lufthansa Cargo Japan and Munich Airport jointly held a seminar at Nakanoshima Qross R&D center in Osaka. The event was divided into a morning and an afternoon session, with around 45 representatives of freight forwarders attending in the morning and 65 representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturers in the afternoon.
Presentations on the handling of pharmaceuticals for both Kansai and Munich Airport were held and Lufthansa Cargo's cooling transportation products (such as Active Temp Control and Passive Temp Support) were introduced.
Roadshow 2024
Our long-standing cargo roadshow took place for the 20th time this year. Over three days in Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Munich, 500 guests from the freight forwarding industry experienced an entertaining evening with new information about our Cargo Hub and our airline partners.
Under the patronage of Jost Lammers, CEO of Munich Airport, we were joined by our partners All Nippon Airways, Cargo ATC Aviation Services AG, American Airlines Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo, Lufthansa Cargo, Qatar Airways Cargo, and United Airlines Cargo.

In September, we had the pleasure of spending two fantastic days at Munich Airport with the management of LH Cargo Europe, Southeastern Europe and Turkey. Together with experts from the Munich hub and 25 top forwarders from Istanbul, we shared the latest cargo insights and information. A certainly unforgettable highlight was the joint visit to the Oktoberfest after the work was done.
