Current information from the ID office

With immediate effect, proof of residence no longer has to be provided by means of registration certificates. This obligation to provide proof no longer applies.

Tip:

The ID card team regularly offers free information training courses on filling out airport ID card applications. If you are interested, please send a message with the subject "ID card application training" to ausweiswesen@munich-airport.de.

Airport ID card and vehicle pass

The airport ID card is for identification and allows the user to enter particual security areas, depending on the colour of the ID card.

With the vehicle pass and an apron drivers licence you are allowed to drive a car within the security area. Please read the airport ID card application for further information and requirements for the application of a vehicle pass.

You can pick up your airport ID card/vehicle pass at the ID Card Office MAC.

Electronic or mechanic keys

After receiving the airport ID card, you can request an electronic or mechanic key.

The key for access to your work area can be picked up at the Key System Management Office (Terminal 1, Level 03, Arrivals B) on presentation of a valid key application.

Location overview

Staff screening checkpoints

In order to gain access to the security restricted area, a valid access medium and a security check in accordance with § 8 LuftSiG at a staff screening checkpoint are required. The enclosed map contains an overview of the locations and the currently valid opening hours.

Tariff Regulations

The tariff regulations include basic terms for services, business errands and other activities performed by FMG’s Corporate Security Division or its corporate group companies as well as the applicable prices.
