Munich Airport assumes responsibility along its entire supply chain and awards contracts on the basis of economic efficiency, placing particular emphasis on the use of durable and low-consumption materials and products. In the case of capital goods, follow-up costs for maintenance and repair (life cycle costs) are taken into account.
Compliance with human rights is a top priority along the entire supply chain. Human rights or environmental risks or inadequate preventive and remedial measures are to be avoided. The Munich Airport Group provides its direct suppliers a training to avoid human rights violations and environmental violations (§ 6 IV No. 3 LkSG).
If violations occur, the complaints procedure of the Code of Procedure ensures professional handling.
