This June, Munich Airport teamed up with Bayern Tourism Marketing to hold a “Central and Eastern Europe Workshop”, choosing the Tegernsee as the venue for this year’s event.
Thanks to support from airlines and other sponsors, the get-together was a resounding success. It was attended by 75 tour operators and media representatives from 20 different countries and 65 companies that are active in the Bavarian tourist industry.
The workshops of this series give participants from the travel industry an opportunity to get acquainted with new tourist destinations. They also add value for the region by indirectly boosting tourism and overnight stays.
