On September 16, the new Käfer Genusswerkstatt restaurant opened in the publicly accessible (presecurity) part of Terminal 2, serving exclusive regional and international specialties. It is right next to the new information lounge of Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH, the official marketing organization for the Bavarian tourist industry.
The Käfer Genusswerkstatt lets passengers and visitors enjoy products from the surrounding region, including coffee from the Munich-based Emilio coffee roaster, as well as international taste treats such as French quiche, excellent Asian food and a rich red wine from Italy.
