Compensation

Wages and salaries are based on the public sector payscales (incl. travel allowance, annual bonus, company pension) or other collective agreements (depending on the individual company). Interns receive non-payscale remuneration.

A wide selection of restaurants and canteens

In our canteens, employees enjoy freshly prepared meals and menus that change daily. All employees receive a 50 percent employer subsidy.

Many shops at the airport and in the surrounding region have special offers for our employees. They are also eligible for many travel offers at special prices. For travel with public transportation, we provide a subsidy for MVV and DB tickets.

Flexible working time models

Working time models at the airport include flexitime, part-time, shift work and trust-based working time, depending on the department, position and seniority. The right work-life balance is essential for ensuring that you deliver your best performance every day and enjoy your work.

Career and family

We have operated a child care center for the children of our employees in cooperation with the Red Cross since 2008. Holiday activities include arts and crafts, bake-you-own-pizza, and excursions into the surrounding region.

Health

Employees can work up a sweat in the staff fitness studio and extensive program of classes offered, such as Pilates and spinning. We also provide ergonomics consultations to plan workplaces that help to maintain long-term health. Another important priority is employees' overall wellbeing. Our company counseling office is always there in case of a personal crisis or other difficulties.
