An outstanding new lounge was inaugurated in Terminal 1 on October 29: the Airport Lounge World. This excellently equipped, comfortable facility is a great way for passengers heading for destinations outside the Schengen zone to start their trip relaxed and rested.
The lounge is open daily between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.
On total space of about 1,700 square meters on two levels, travelers can take advantage of comfortable seating, work and rest areas, and a generous buffet with both hot and cold specialties. Nor is there any shortage of entertainment: you can enjoy free Wi-Fi, various TV channels from different countries, and a large selection of print media. Lockers and showers are also available for use. There is no charge for business and first class passengers; economy class passengers may use the lounge for a fee of 48 euros.
The Airport Lounge World is located after the security check on Levels 6 and 7 of Module B in Terminal 1 and served by an elevator, making it very convenient to reach for all non-Schengen passengers flying from Piers B and C. There is a shuttle bus across the apron to also let those departing from Terminal 2 take advantage of it.
