Munich Airport NJ LLC, a 100% subsidiary of Munich Airport US Holding LLC, is responsible for Maintenance and Concession Management Services at EWR Terminal A and will be responsible for Airport Operations, Maintenance and Concession Management Services at the new Terminal A at EWR which is currently under development and is scheduled to open in 2022. The new Terminal A will replace the current Terminal A.
The new Terminal A
The new Terminal A at EWR will be a modern, state-of-the art terminal and will replace the existing Terminal A. The Terminal has a design capacity of approx. 14 million annual passengers and 33 common-use gates, providing generous space for a smooth journey through the building, from curbside to for check-in, security, gate holdrooms and baggage claim. The retail and food and beverage offer will be tailored to the needs and requirements of domestic passengers
Terminal A is the state’s largest design-build project, expected to generate more than $4.6 billion in regional economic activity, create more than 23,000 job years and provide more than $1.9 billion in wages.
