How to spend a shopping day in Munich: Munich’s main shopping district is the pedestrian zone in the city center around Neuhauser Straße, Kaufingerstraße and Marienplatz, where stores and shops of all major European retailers are located. This is one of the most popular shopping areas in Germany. Stores worth visiting are Ludwig Beck am Rathauseck, at the Marienplatz and Oberpollinger, near the Karlsplatz.

The more exclusive shops of famous high-class brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Escada and Saint Laurent can be found around Theatinerstraße, Maximilianstraße and Brienner Straße.
