There are many good reasons to visit Lublin!

You can start the day with a leisurely brunch in the fashionable Café Trybunalska at Rynek 4 with its elegant arched ceiling. There you can treat yourself to hot coffee or delicious pastries baked on site.

The Rynek market square is one of Poland’s most attractive. It’s a great place to start a tour of the historic Old Town, which has an almost Mediterranean ambiance.

A visit to Lublin Castle is an absolute must. The steps of its main tower, erected in the 13th century, are steep but when you reach the top you’re rewarded by a magnificent view across the city. Another must-see is the Rutheno-Byzantine frescoes of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity. Afterward you can stroll or relax on the castle grounds.

Not far from the castle is the impressive Chevra Nosim Synagogue. It is one of many sites that evoke Lublin’s Jewish history. The city was once one of Europe’s foremost centers of Jewish life, commerce, culture and scholarship and had the world's largest Talmudic school, the Yeshybot. A great place to spend the evening is the Mandragora restaurant at Rynek 9, where you can immerse yourself in Jewish culture and sample many tasty specialties.

Whisky lovers should head for a cozy bar called the Whiskey Café at Rybna 4. It also has many loyal fans among Lublin’s 80,000 university students. If you prefer beer, you can enjoy various kinds that are brewed on the premises in the Perlowa Pub.

Take advantage of bmi regional’s daily service with LH code-share via Munich to explore this unique city!
