In the dialog with stakeholder groups, Munich Airport is committed to the transparent communication of the company's performance. The report is prepared in compliance with the most exacting international standards for integrated reporting as set out by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). A new aspect in the latest edition is the explanation of the six chapter types defined by the IIRC: Munich Airport has extracted the aspects most relevant to its operations and its business model. The financial reporting is carried out in accordance with the IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
This year's version is also presented in landscape format for the first time. The modern layout makes the report more reader-friendly and increases the impact of the charts and graphics. The airport has also adopted new production techniques: An environmentally friendly and innovative process produces bright colors on the natural paper and meets all criteria for climate-neutral printing.
