At Munich Airport, several testing options for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus are offered in the public area and within Terminal 2. They can be used by travelers as well as all other persons.For international transfer passengers (non-Schengen), a fee-based test center is available in Terminal 2 (near Gate H17).
Current regulations for domestic and international travel
Masks are mandatory on all domestic German routes and on flights departing or arriving in Germany.
For flights abroad, the entry regulations of the respective destination country must also be observed. For many destinations, a 3G certificate is required. Some countries also require mandatory proof of vaccination. Please find out before your trip which regulations apply in detail to the country you are traveling to.
The following applies to all persons entering Germany from abroad: Persons aged 12 years and older must be able to present proof of vaccination, convalescence or testing upon entry (before crossing the border). Accepted testings: PCR test, max. 48h before start of travel; Antigen test, max. 48 hours before scheduled time of arrival in Germany.
