The AirSite Center is the commercial core of Munich Airport, mainly comprising Terminal 1, the Munich Airport Center (MAC) and the Hilton Hotel. Terminal 1, with which Munich Airport launched its operations at the new airport site to the north-west of Munich in 1992, will soon undergo an extensive expansion and upgrade.
Munich Airport Center (MAC) offers a total of 21,000 square meters of floor space in flexible rental units with modern office space. Only a small number of units are still available. The MAC was designed by the renowned architect Helmut Jahn, who has gained international fame through such high-profile projects as the Sony Center in Berlin and the Highlight Towers in Munich.
The Municon conference center offers 40 conference rooms, comfortable lounges and catering for every occasion. The adjacent hotel, also a Helmut Jahn design, is adding a new, 160-room wing at a total cost of approximately 36 million euros.
